Alan
Shusterman received his J.D. from
Harvard Law School (cum laude) and is a graduate of the University of
Pennsylvania (B.A., Economics and International Relations, summa cum
laude).
After practicing law
for 7 years, Alan became a coach to utilize his abilities, skills, and
experience in a more fulfilling way. As an attorney, Alan realized that
he gained more satisfaction from helping clients work through the larger issues
in their lives than from addressing their legal issues.
In his last legal
position, as Associate Director of the D.C.-based False Claims Act Legal
Center, Alan recognized that he preferred mentoring and collaborating with
others, as well as creating and building a business, over legal work. The
analytical, problem solving, and communication skills he honed as an attorney
enable Alan to powerfully serve his coaching clients. Alan is an active
member of the International Coach Federation. He holds a coaching
certificate from the Success Unlimited Network Coaching Certification Program,
the oldest coach training program in the country. To combine the best of
coaching approaches, Alan also has received training from New Ventures West and
other top programs. His areas of professional focus are executive coaching and
attorney coaching. |
