Suzi Pomerantz, MT, MCC is an executive coach ,
performance consultant, and corporate trainer specializing in leadership
development with Fortune 500 clients, attorneys and public sector leaders. Suzi
holds an international certification as a Master Certified Coach through the
International Coach Federation, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University
of Virginia, and a Master’s degree from the University of
Virginia’s Curry School of Education.
In recent
years, Suzi has served clients primarily in the legal industry. Suzi has
coached executives, senior managers, and attorneys in the law departments of
Tyco International, DuPont, Goldman Sachs, General Motors, Sears, and
Welch’s. Suzi facilitated Tyco’s Global Law Department Summit in
2004. As an executive coach for the management of the legal department at
DuPont for over 6 years, Suzi contributed to the development and growth of the
nationally acclaimed DuPont Legal Model. Suzi coached the leaders of the DuPont
Legal Model Program and coordinated the strategic design and implementation of
the annual and mid-year meetings with the law firms who represent DuPont. She
was integrally involved in the planning, implementation, and facilitation of
the annual Conference for Women and the Practice of Law for DuPont for its
first 3 years as well as the DuPont Minority Counsel Conference. Suzi served as
the coach to the leadership teams of the DuPont Women Lawyer’s Network
and the Minority Counsel Network.
Suzi is often
asked to facilitate law firm retreats or design development sessions in
leadership, mentoring, communication, networking and team building for delivery
in such law firms as Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt, Morgan Lewis &
Bockius, Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, and Young Conaway Stargatt &
Taylor. She has presented at the Legal Marketing Association and the Business
Development for Women Attorneys conference, held in co-operation with the ABA
Law Practice Management Section. Suzi has provided executive coaching services
to senior partners, board members, and managing partners in law firms such as
Thorp Reed & Armstrong, Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, Goldberg
Kohn Bell Black Rosenbloom & Moritz, Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt,

Suzi
specializes in team and individual business coaching and diversity training and
served as the leadership coach to a Roundtable of Women Business Owners in
Montgomery County, MD. She also develops leaders in presentation skills,
teambuilding, sales, planning and conducting effective meetings, and
facilitating change. Suzi has presented at the International Executive Coaching
Summit, an invitation-only annual gathering of senior executive coaching
experts, and taught a course for executive coaches at the Executive Coach
Academy. She has also delivered guest lectures to undergraduate and master
level classes at George Washington University, Loyola University, and the
University of Virginia. She served on both the Executive Coaching Committee and
the Application Review Committee of the International Coach Federation and
served on the International Executive Coaching Summit Planning Committee. Suzi
is a founding member of and frequent contributor to the International Journal
of Coaching in Organizations (IJCO) and currently serves on the editorial
board. Suzi is a founding member and the Vice Chair on the board (Executive
Committee) of the International Consortium for Coaching in Organizations
(ICCO). She partners with Executive Skillworks, Sugarcrest Development Group,
and CommCore Consulting in the Washington, DC area, with Mariposa Leadership
and RunRhino in California and with Visionquest Consulting in Massachusetts.
Suzi was the
founding vice president of POWER, a non-profit organization that provides
trainers and consultants to charitable organizations. Professional affiliations
include the National Association for Female Executives, International Coach
Federation, GE Foundation Entrepreneurs, International Executive Coaching
Summit, and ICCO.
Currently, Suzi
is working with successful executive coaches and consultants who are looking to
take their businesses to the next level. She teaches an action selling system
that integrates networking, marketing and sales in a structured format that
allows coaches and consultants to customize their business development. She is
the author of Sealing the Deal: Ten Steps to Building Your Business Your Way,
due out in 2006.
William Bergquist, Ph.D . is a n
internationally-known coach, consultant, trainer and educator. Having received
his Bachelors Degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, Bill
went on to do graduate work at Harvard University under a Rockefellar Brothers
Fellowship, and completed his Doctoral Degree in Psychology at the University
of Oregon. As an author, researcher and scholar, Bill has written more than 40
books and 50 articles over a period of thirty five years. Bill studies and
writes about profound personal, group, organizational and societal transitions
and transformations. He has conducted research and scholarship in North
America, Europe and Asia to establish the foundation for his written work. His
publications range from the personal transitions of men and women in their 50s
and the struggles of men and women in recovering from strokes, to the
experiences of freedom among the men and women of Eastern Europe following the
collapse of the Soviet Union. His book, The Postmodern Organization,
has been identified as one of the 50 classics in organizational theory and
has been translated into both Italian and Mandarin. In Our Fifties
(with Klaum and Greenberg) was featured on Good Morning America and in
several metropolitan newspapers. The Vitality of Senior Faculty (with
Carole Bland) received the annual research award in 1998 from the American
Educational Research Association. The Four Cultures of the Academy,
Designing Undergraduate Education (with Gould and Greenberg), and A
Handbook for Faculty Development (three volumes) (with Steven Phillips)
have been widely acknowledged and cited as seminal publications in the field of
higher education.
As an
entrepreneur and owner of The Professional School of Psychology (PSP) for
almost twenty years, Bill Bergquist has created a unique opportunity for

As an educator
, Bill Bergquist has taught in the fields of psychology, organizational
behavior and development, management, public administration and public policy
in more than two dozen colleges, universities and graduate institutions. The
postsecondary institutions in which he has taught range from the University of
California in Berkeley, California to the Tallinn Polytechnic Institute in
Tallinn, Estonia, and from Dominican University in San Rafael, California to
College One , an experimental liberal arts summer college held for three years
at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Bill is currently teaching extensively
in his own school (PSP), having established a unique doctoral tutorial program
that enables him to work one-on-one with highly accomplished doctoral
students—one of Bill’s lifelong dreams.
